Mayor Nutter and city elected leaders kick off new term at 2012 Inauguration

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter initiated his second term in office with his inaugural address before city elected leaders and other dignitaries at the Academy of Music on Monday, promising that his administration would combat crime and mend failing public schools over the four years. The inaugural ceremony also swore into office members of Philadelphia City Council, six of whom are new, leaders of the city’s row offices, and local judges.
