Mayor - Michael Nutter was the winner of the May Primary and will face Republican candidate, Al Taubenberger plus potential Minority and Independent candidates on November 6 in the race for Philadelphia's next Mayor.
To serve as Mayor, a citizen must meet the following qualifications prior to the election:
1. Be at least 25-years old

Council members must meet the following qualifications prior to election:
1. Be at least 25-years old
2. Resident of the City for at least 1 year

City Commissioners - elected for a four-year term City Commissioners must meet the following qualifications prior to election: 1. Be at least 25-years old
